Searching for Binoculars

There are a lot of different specifications that are used with binoculars. We have create the Binocular Slider tool to make it easy to compare products based on binocular specifications, brand, price, and a number of other criteria. The sliders start with the maximum price for each product, and the maximum value for every other specification. There are two slider bars - the minimum bar (on the left) and the maximum bar (on the right). When you slide the minimum bar to the right, it removes the items that are lower than the new minimum you set. Likewise, when you slide the maximum bar to the left, you reduce the value.

For example if you wanted to reduce the price of the binoculars you are looking for, you would slide the maximum bar for price to the left. Your results will be filtered in real time, and products that no longer match your criteria are automatically removed and you won't see them anymore. You can change sliders only for criteria you care about. Most people change the objective lens and magnification sliders when searching for binoculars. However, you may also want to change the eye relief if you plan to use the binoculars with glasses.

We recommend that you change specifications and criteria first, then filter by brand as the last step. This way you can see the full range of products before seeing what reducing the number of brands you are looking for will do to the search results. You can always clear changes made to a Slider and start over.

Setting Alerts for Binoculars

Using the sliders to choose your binoculars is a way to save time and effort, quickly comparing binoculars with just the criteria that you care about. However, the most powerful feature for sliders are the alerts that you can set. When you save the slider, it will notify you with an email when new products match your search, or when previously-matched products become discontinued. It will also send you an alert when the price drops or when there are coupons or discounts. Slider Alerts are the easiest way to save money on binoculars without any effort.
