The range finding capabilities of this product are designed for hunting. The Scout series has a bow hunting mode that reads true horizontal distance up to 99 yards out. The rifle mode provides bullet drop / holdover readings in inches. This rangefinder also has a SCAN mode, a brush mode setting to measure the distance of background or reference objects, and a BullsEye mode provides distance to the nearest object. All of these modes are easily selected and clear to read, ensuring you get the right range reading. Scout series rangefinders also include an inclinometer so you can measure angles with capabilities from -60 degrees to +60 degrees and 1 degree of accuracy.
