Bushnell Powerview Binoculars
Bushnell Powerview binoculars are a starting point, but one that will take you pretty far. This product line is value-priced, so you don't get all of the sophisticated Bushnell coating technologies, but the lenses are coated and provide adequate viewing with little distortion. Many of these binoculars can be mounted to a tripod. This product line offers full sized models, compact models and a number of zoom binocular models, some with the handy center tilt lever zoom adjuster. The Powerview series also offers models with Bushnell's InstaFocus auto-focus system.
This series offers a surprising amount of viewing power for the money, with objective lens choices at 25mm, 32mm, 40mm, 42mm and 50mm. Magnification choices include 7x, 8x, 10x, 12x, 16x and even 20x. There are a number of zoom models available with variable magnification, but he 7-21x40 model is particularly impressive for its versatility.
This product line will provide fun and satisfying viewing. Because of the features available, we can't really call these entry-level binoculars and they would be a good choice for many users. Just inexpensive for the features you get.
