Bushnell Excursion Compact Binoculars and Spotting Scopes
Excursion series products are designed to be compact and durable. They are designed for field use, from hiking and recreation use to hunting and tactical applications. Comparable to Elite E2 binoculars by Bushnell, these optics products skip a few of the optical coatings to bring these products in at a lower price point. The optics are still top quality, the main difference being that the Excursion product line does not use ED glass or include Rainguard technology. However, these are powerful compact optics at a price point that provides a lot of value.
Bushnell Excursion binoculars are ergonomic and easy to use, with rubberized armor and grips along the exterior. The 7x36 BowHunter and 10x42 Chuck Adams models are designed for hunters. The 7x36 EX Birding bird watching binoculars model have a wide field of view design as do the 10x42 Excursion EX models. These are very powerful and capable weatherproof compact binoculars at an affordable price point.
Bushnell has created two spotting scopes in the Excursion product line. These scopes use a Folded Light Path design resulting in a very compact spotting scope that still provides the focal length of a larger scope. The Both use the same 15-45x zoom 60mm objective lens design. The 781569ED is the base model, and the tactical spotting scope version adds a Mil Hash reticle. These are very capable and compact spotting scopes.
