The lenses are multi coated with Bushnell XTR coating technology, and the outside surfaces of lenses are treated with Rainguard to scatter water droplets and further reduce the chance of fogging. The 10x42 binoculars in this line  are powerful, and the 8x42 model provides the same features for closer range viewing.
